TRADITIONAL ARGENTINE TANGO is a couple dance which has traveled from Buenos Aires to the whole world. It is characterized by closed embrace and improvisation which is made possible by perfect connection within the couple. It is danced in tango parties, so called milongas.
TANGO COURSES FOR BEGINNERS T1 are designed as 2-MONTH COURSES (6-8 lessons). Higher levels T2, T3 take on a more flexible form of OPEN CLASSES. For more advanced dancers we also offer TANGO NUEVO OPEN CLASSES on Thursdays.
DEMONSTRATION LESSON OF ARGENTINE TANGO
If you want to know more about Argentine Tango, come to DEMONSTRATION LESSON OF TANGO BASICS ON SUNDAY 25 OCT AT 17:00-18:00. It takes place in a Big Dance Hall at Truhlarska 8. Free entrance, no previous registration. Suitable for both couples and individuals.
TANGO COURSES FOR BEGINNERS open every other month and consist of 6 to 8 lessons. They take place every Tuesday 18:00-19:00 (FOR CONCRETE DATES, TIMES, PLACE AND PRICE SEE THE TABLE HEREUNDER).
The course objective is to familiarize students with tango culture and tango basics so that they get the tools needed for dancing and improvising.
If you miss any lesson you can make it up in a paralel course or at Thursday PRAKTILONGAS 19:30-21:00 where you will be shown the new content by present lecturers Yulia and Jan.
REGISTRATIONS are submitted IN COUPLES through REGISTRATION FORM (after filling it in you will get payment details by e-mail). If you need a partner for the course, write us to info@bailemos.cz , state your age and height and we will try to connect you with other applicants.

* Tuesday 23 February is school holiday. The Youth Center Jednička is closed.
Tuesday PRE-INTERMEDIATES T2 and INTERMEDIATES T3 run from Semptember 2026 to the end of June 2027. They are designed as OPEN CLASSES which means that you can take part in any lesson(s). The lessons represent separate units and aim at improving students' technique and musicality making your dance more colorful (FOR CONCRETE DATES, TIMES, PLACE AND PRICE SEE THE TABLE HEREUNDER).
TICKET TO ONE LESSON or discounted PASSES FOR 5 OR 10 LESSONS can be purchased online through the OPEN CLASSES PASSES 2026/2027 FORM hereunder or on the spot in cash. The PASS empowers you to attend T2, T3 Open Classes, Tango Nuevo Open Classes on Thursdays and also Praktilongas on Thursdays.
