GENERAL INFO
Courses APRIL - JUNE 2025 start in the week from 7 APRIL. BEGINNERS (T1) and PRE-INTERMEDIATES+ (T2+) take place on Thursdays, INTERMEDIATES (T3) on Tuesdays. Beginners are offered 20% discount.
For schedule see the table down. If you miss any lesson, you can make it up in a parallel course or at Tuesday PRAKTILONGA. Note that Thursday courses T1 and T2+ have just 9 lessons due to national holidays, Tuesday course T3 has 12 lessons.
The registration is open only for couples. If you are looking for a dance partner, write us to info@balemos.cz and we will try to connect you with other solo applicants.
If you wish to try out Argentine Tango beforehand, you are welcome to the DEMO LESSON OF TANGO BASICS which will take place on SUNDAY 16 MARCH AT 14:30 - 15:30 at Jednička. The lesson will be given by lecturers Honza and Yulia and is open to couples as well as to individuals. No registration in advance is required. Free entrance.
COURSE CONTENT
BEGINNERS T1 will focus on the basics of Argentine tango from the embrace to communication within the couple to improvisation skills. They will be introduced to the basic step as well as basic figures. PRE-INT T2 and INT T3 will reinforce fundamental technique and focus on flow and musicality. They will get familiar with more complex figures and variations.
EVERY TUESDAY 19:30-21 we hold PRAKTILONGAS - space for revising, discovering and meeting other dancers.
VENUE AND REGISTRATION
The courses take place in historical hall of SVČ "JEDNIČKA" (FREE TIME CENTER PRAGUE 1), TRUHLÁŘSKÁ STREET 8 (see map) with quality wooden floor. There are separated dressing rooms.
