Located in a beautiful CITY OF TEPLITZ (see map) in north Bohemia, OTOŇO WEEKEND offers 6 TANGO SEMINARS for pre-intermediate to advanced level with maestros CARLOS & MIRELLA (NL), together with FRIDAY AND SATURDAY MILONGAS with shows. In between classes and milongas you may enjoy leisure activities including bathing in thermal springs or a trip to the nearby Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge). Accommodation, food and dancing are all under one roof - a modern HOTEL U KOZIČKY in the historical center of Teplitz.
LECTURERS
CARLOS & MIRELLA (NL) are one of the top couples of today's international tango scene! For their structured and relaxed way of teaching they are also searched-for lecturers at festivals and workshops.
Carlos & Mirella are partners both on the dance floor as in life. Their motto is: 'As a dancer you never stop learning!' because to be a true professional is to be committed to lifelong education. The couple is known and loved for their elegance, subtlety and musical finesse as well as their spectacular and breathtaking shows. They enthuse tango lovers around the world with their natural, humorous and well-structured way of teaching.
Their joint path started in 2011. With the technical background of Mirella, who graduated from Dance Academia, and Carlos's years of dance experience abroad, they form a couple that complements each other in all areas.
Every year Carlos & Mirella visit Buenos Aires to grow in tango but also to represent the Netherlands at the World Championships (el Mundial). In 2016 they were the very first Dutch couple ever to represent the Netherlands in the Final. And they have managed to repeat that since. They are also multiple European Champions in categories of "Tango Stage" and "Tango de Pista".
To date, Carlos & Mirella are very active in The Netherlands and abroad. In 2018 and 2020 they received the honour to perform with the singer Andrea Bocelli.
We are happy that after successful premiere of 2022 they will be our guest teachers for the 2nd time in Teplitz!

ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD
Accommodation and food are not provided by the organizers, however, both are available in the place of the event!
The recommended accommodation is 4-star hotel U kozičky which is our event venue. The hotel is located in the historical and spa center of Teplice in the vicinity of Chateau Park. We have booked double rooms in the hotel with a discount. You can receive the discount after submitting a password which will be sent to you by e-mail together with confirmation of your participation.
The prices of a double room per night including breakfast:

Parking place - reservation needed:
